High Access. High Trust.
This community works because members speak candidly about real numbers and real problems. That only stays possible if everyone protects it.
What we ask of you
- Share honestly. Vague questions get vague answers.
- Ask meaningful questions and give more than you take.
- Help other members when you have relevant experience.
- Protect confidentiality. What is said here stays here.
- Respect each other's time. Be concise and specific.
- Avoid excessive self-promotion.
- Use #ask-dan for concise questions between sessions.
- Move complex strategy into scheduled advisory sessions where it can be done properly.
Not permitted
Harassment, discrimination or threats. Spam or unauthorized solicitation. Sharing another member's confidential information. Recording private conversations without permission. Redistributing Advisory materials. Misrepresenting a relationship with another member. Using membership primarily to sell to other members.
Response expectations
Dan reads the community and responds where he can add value. Not every message will receive a response, and Slack is not a substitute for scheduled advisory time.
Confidentiality
Anything posted in a shared channel can be seen by every authorized member of that channel. Share sensitive financial detail thoughtfully. Slack is operated by Slack Technologies and is subject to its own terms and privacy practices.
Enforcement
Violations may result in a private conversation, removal from channels, or suspension or termination of membership under the Membership Agreement.
